Privacy Policy
Effective August 2, 2026
Sarah is an assistant that reads your email and calendar so she can brief you and answer your questions. That means you are trusting us with genuinely private material, so this policy is written to be read rather than to be survived. It describes what we collect, what we do with it, who else touches it, and how you get rid of it.
Meet Sarah LLC (“we”) operates meetsarah.io and the Sarah application. If you have a question this page does not answer, write to privacy@meetsarah.io.
What we collect
What you give us
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your brokerage, market area, and role
- The time you would like your morning briefing, if you choose one
- Whether you opted in to WhatsApp, the exact consent wording you agreed to, and the moment you agreed to it
What you connect
When you connect a Google or Microsoft account, we receive an access credential from that provider — never your password. Using it, Sarah reads:
- Email messages and their metadata, to write your briefing and answer you
- Calendar events, to tell you what your day looks like
- Your account's email address, so we can show you which mailbox is which
What we generate
- Your conversations with Sarah, and the briefings she writes for you
- A durable model of how you work — your market, your brokerage, your preferences — so she does not need re-explaining
- Ordinary operational logs and error records
What we do with it
We use your data to run the service you asked for. Specifically:
- To write your morning briefing at the time you elected
- To answer what you ask, in the app or on WhatsApp
- To keep your connected accounts working and warn you when one needs reconnecting
- To bill you, and to support you when something breaks
We do not sell your data.We do not use it for advertising, we do not share it with data brokers, and we do not use your email or calendar content to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.
Google user data — Limited Use
Sarah's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Concretely, that means:
- We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you can see — your briefing and your conversations with Sarah.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising.
- We do not allow humans to read your Google user data, except: with your explicit permission for a specific problem; where necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse; to comply with applicable law; or where the data is aggregated and anonymized.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
Microsoft account data is handled to the same standard. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google account permissions or your Microsoft account, as well as from your Sarah account page.
WhatsApp is optional and off unless you turn it on. If you opt in, we record the exact wording you agreed to and the time you agreed, because that is what consent evidence means.
- We message you on WhatsApp only about the service — your briefing, and replies to what you send us. We do not send marketing there.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or turn WhatsApp off from your account page. Opting out stops business-initiated messages immediately.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Messages travel through WhatsApp and our messaging provider, so their handling of the message is also governed by their terms.
- Turning WhatsApp off does not close your account — the app and email carry on exactly as before.
Who else touches your data
We use a small number of service providers, by category, to run Sarah. They process data on our instructions and for no other purpose. We disclose the categories below; the specific vendors within a category may change as we operate the service.
| Category | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Email & calendar integration (Google, Microsoft) | The mailboxes and calendars you connect. These are the providers you authorize directly through their own sign-in. |
| Cloud hosting & database | Running the service and storing your account and encrypted connection credentials |
| Messaging delivery | Delivering WhatsApp messages, for users who opted in |
| Transactional email | Sign-in codes and service email |
| Third-party AI model providers | Generating your briefings and replies. Content is processed to answer you and is not used to train their models. |
| Customer relationship & support | Managing your account records and handling support you ask for |
How it is kept separate
Every customer gets their own assistant, with its own memory and its own storage. Your mail is never pooled with another customer's and no other customer's assistant can read it. Connection credentials are encrypted before they are stored, and access to production systems is restricted.
Our handling of Google user data has been assessed under Google's security review process for applications requesting restricted scopes.
Keeping and deleting
We retain your data while your account is active, because Sarah is not useful without it. When you disconnect a mailbox, we stop reading it and delete the stored credential.
When you delete your account, we delete your personal data — within 30 days — including your assistant, its memory, your conversations, and your connection credentials. The only exception is data we are required by law to retain longer, which we keep only for as long as the law requires and then delete.
To close your account and have your data deleted, write to privacy@meetsarah.io from your account address.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to privacy@meetsarah.io and we will act on it. We do not charge for this and we will not make the service worse for you because you asked.
Children
Sarah is a tool for working real estate professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects how we treat your data, we will tell you before it takes effect — by email, not by quietly editing this page. The effective date is at the top.
